ARCHIBUS - Overlay (CAD Utilities)

ARCHIBUS - Essentials

In this introduction to the basic skills needed to work effectively with ARCHIBUS, participants survey the major components of databases, drawings, and reports as well as explore the Space Management and Overlay for AutoCAD modules.
Objective: Efficient execution of menu options and commonly used commands, create drawings and link database records, and the ability to select available standard reports and arrange and manipulate them to meet specific requirements.
Prerequisite: A basic understanding of facilities management concepts and practices.

ARCHIBUS - Application Modules

Each ARCHIBUS application module contains its own set of features and functionality to address the unique needs of various workflow processes. Modules are scheduled in conjunction with (and after) the ARCHIBUS Core Concepts, and are intended for users familiar with ARCHIBUS basic functionality.
Objective: Training in topics relevant to the user. Modules offered include: Real Property and Lease Management, Strategic Master Planning, Space Management, Overlay for AutoCAD with Design Management, Furniture and Equipment Management, Telecommunications and Cable Management, Building Operations Management and the Work Wizard, Condition Assessment and Environmental Sustainability.
Prerequisite: ARCHIBUS Core Concepts or equivalent experience.

ARCHIBUS - Advanced

OSIS - Core Concepts

Beginning sessions of this course focus on end-user utilization, introducing the interface, features, and navigation. After the basics are covered, the customization and administration of OSIS is emphasized for system administrators who design reports, author maps, create searches and/or otherwise configure OSIS.
Objective: Utilize, populate, configure, manage, and support the OSIS application.
Prerequisite: ARCHIBUS Core Concepts or equivalent experience.
